I got my ear pierced!

Hey everyone!
Last night I went to a piercing place to get my industrial bar!
Instead I got two hoops in the places that the industrial will go through. These hoops are supposed to make the holes easily close.
I'm so happy I got this since I had been waiting a few months :)

Bad news- my camera won't upload the video to my computer so I can't upload it to YouTube.
I'm sorry guys!
I'll try my best to get things together and figure out whats up with my camera/computer.

Hey everyone!

Long time no blog posts! Sorry we haven't been exactly keeping up with our blog lately. Both of our lives (mine and Rachel's) have been pretty hectic recently. But we are both trying to get back on our game to keep up with both out channel and our blog.
We've been trying to get more viewers and subscribers lately so we can finally get partnered on YouTube. We have around 32 videos so far so I think we're doing pretty good.
To update you on my life, I wanted to tell you what I did last night. Last night I went to one of my friend's birthday parties. It was formal, so everyone was dressed up. I wore a green one shoulder dress from Forever 21. Along with a necklace and bracelet from Forever 21 as well. My gladiator shoes were purchased from Kohls about two years ago. My friend Ashley wore a black sweetheart dress from Forever 21 and some gladiator shoes (I'm not sure where she got them). I curled my hair and put it up in a loose bun and Ashley straightened her hair and left it down. I'll put a picture of me and Ashley together and one just of me.
I hope you guys liked this little 'ootd' thong I did for you. And expect more blog posts coming soon!

Wet N Wild Palette Review!

Hey everyone! It's Rachel:) Today I am going to be reviewing the third Wet N Wild color icon 6 pan eyeshadow palette. I do want to say that I recently went to my local CVS and picked up the fourth palette and that will be coming soon. Anyway the palette I am reviewing today is called Greed. Just like the others there are three matte shades and three shimmery shades that are relatively pigmented. This is my least favorite palette for reasons which I explain below.
As you can see this palette is composed of lighter shades, more skin tone type colors, and then you have your grey and black smokey shades.

I am hoping that I may have just gotten a fluke palette, but the grey shade at the top of this palette is horrible. You really have to dig your brush into the color to get any color payoff at all. That is a HUGE disappointment to me because I was really excited about the grey color when I first got the palette. Other than that, there is really nothing else wrong with this palette, the black colors are absolutely amazing because they are extremely rich and pigmented. However the middle matte shade I do not really like purely because of the color, there is nothing actually wrong with it, it's just not for me.
Overall this is not a bad palette at all, but I personally only get use out of four of the colors, as opposed to all six.
Would I recommend this palette, probably. Purely because the black colors are so rich and the other colors aren't horrible, they just aren't all for me.
This palette is available at your local drug/discount store for $4.

Why we haven't made many new videos!

This is Kylie. I wanted to explain why we haven't made many videos together or many videos at all.
I had to have my wisdom teeth taken out two weeks ago and my cheeks were swollen until about 4 days ago so I wasn't able to make any videos :(
Rachel and I aren't always together since we have different family members (we're step sisters). Next week, we will be doing more regular videos rather than me just doing videos and Rachel handling the blog.
We have loads in store for you next week and we are excited to be making videos for you guys. :)
Sorry for the lack of videos over the past two weeks! Since I won't be having anymore surgery, I will keep up with the videos for our loyal subscribers!

Wet N Wild Blush Review!

Hey everyone! It's Rachel with yet another Wet N Wild Review:) Today I am going to be reviewing to of their blushes. The blushes are extremely pigmented and beautiful and I think that you all will like them. I am reviewing Heather Silk and Pearlescent Pink today, both of which I truly enjoy.
Heather Silk

Pearlescent Pink
As you can tell Heather Silk is a matte pink-y mauve color and Pearlescent Pink is a shimmery coral-y pink color.
Left: Pearlescent Pink, Right: Heather Silk
As you can tell these colors are extremely pigmented. I get the most use out of Pearlescent Pink because it is lighter and looks better on my skin, whereas Heather Silk is very dark looking on my skin. That may also be because the lightest touch with your brush gives off a lot of color, so I end up having to really blend it out.
I would recommend these blushes to anyone. They are extremely affordable and very pigmented:)
These retail for around $4 at your local drug/discount store.

What's In My Purse? Part 1- Rachel

Hey everyone! Since I will not be doing a blog post about what is actually in my purse, I just wanted to link to the video in case you missed it! Hope you all enjoy and Kylie's video is to come:)

Belle Ame' Bath Bomb Review!

Hey everyone! Rachel again:) Today I am going to be reviewing a product from my favorite bath company...Belle Ame'! They have so many different products and scents and everything that I have tried has been amazing. I am reviewing my favorite bath bomb from them today and that is Stop and Smell the Roses!!
Okay, can I just start off by saying how awesome this bath bomb looks?! Look at the little rose buds inside the bath bomb. Yup, those are dried up rose buds that float to the top of the water when you put this in your tub, giving off a very relaxing feeling, Also this bath bomb smells exactly like roses. Not the roses that kind of smell like roses, but fresh roses that you can smell from a miles away. I tend to use this when I have had a stressful day and need a moment to myself. I have tried many different bath bombs from many different brands, including Lush, and I always have the same problem, the scent never stays on my skin. Well not with this bath bomb! I can smell this for hours after I have taken the bath.
Overall I would recommend this bath bomb to anyone and everyone:)
These are $4.95 at the Belle Ame' website. Here is a link:

More Belle Ame' reviews to come:)

Fantastic Friday!

Hey everyone! So I am doing another Fantastic Friday review on one of the Wet n Wild Color Icon palettes. The palette I am reviewing is called Lust. Lust consists of mainly plummy shades and darker colors in general. This is definitely my second favorite palette.
Just like Pride, the three matte shades are on the left and the three shimmery shades are on the right. Also like Pride, these colors are extremely pigmented.
As you can tell by this picture, this colors are very pigmented. Unlike Pride, I do not have a color that I do not really like. My favorite color in this palette is the matte plum shade because it is so unique to me. I do not have another shade in my collection that compares to it. All of these shades are gorgeous, and this palette is really close to being my favorite, but Pride beats this because of the blues in that palette. I like blues and greens.Once again I would recommend this palette to anyone.
These retail for about $4 at your local drug/discount store.

Fantastic Friday!

Hey everyone! Its Rachel:) I have decided to start a blog series called, obviously, Fantastic Friday. I may be reviewing one product, or I may be reviewing ten, either way, there will almost always be a blog post up every Friday. Today I am going to be reviewing one of the three Wet n Wild Color Icon palettes I have. I  believe that there are four in the collection, and I hope to get that one too, but for now I am reviewing these. The unique aspect about these is that there are six colors, three matte and three shimmer. Very rarely do I see drugstore palettes with matte shades, not to say that they're not out there, but I don't see them often.
Up first is Pride. This palette has, in my opinion, the most summery colors of the three I have. Pride is composed of sea greens. navy blues, and whites.
As you can see the left side are the matte colors and the right side are the shimmery colors. In this palette the colors next to each other are basically the same shade, but they just have different finishes. Here are the swatches:
When I first got this palette home and swatched it, I was speechless! These colors are soo pigmented. The mattes are beautiful, and I tend to wear them more purely because I love mattes, but these shimmery colors are wonderful as well. The shimmers have almost a metallic feel to them as well as intense shimmer. The mattes are very smooth and not at all chalky. My favorite color in the palette is the matte white because I reach for it all the time when I need a highlight color. My least favorite color in this palette is the shimmery white. The shimmer is very chunky in that color and the color just does not stand out.
Overall I would recommend this palette to others, and feel that it is a great value.
This palette retails for about $4 at drug/discount stores.

Our Skincare Routine!

Hey everyone! Here is our skincare routine that we have been working on for a long time even though we just started videos. Skin is something that most people are self conscious about and we are definitely some of those people. These are products that we have tried and used for a long time, so we know that, for us at least, they work really well. As we said in the video Rachel has oily skin and Kylie has dry skin and some of these products we both use and they work really well. Below will be a list of the products used, the person who uses them and if they work better for dry-normal skin or combination-oily skin. Hope you enjoy:)

Neutrogena Oil Cream Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser- Kylie uses this product because it is a cream cleanser which is good for her dry skin.

C&C (Clean and Clear) Finishing Pore Perfecting Cleanser-We have both used this product and it is great for both of our skin types.

C&C Morning Burst Detoxifying Facial Cleanser- We have both used this product, and it is once again great for both of our skin types.

C&C Blackhead Eraser Cleansing Mask- Kylie has used this product and really enjoys it and the results it gives.

MK Facial Cleansing Cloths- Rachel uses these and thinks that they are wonderful and have improved her acne significantly faster than other products.

Aveeno Positively Ageless Daily Cleansing Pads- Rachel uses these and thinks that they are as good as a cleanser, but when it comes to acne, they do not really do much.

Kroger Eye Makeup Remover- We have both used this, and it is really good for removing your eye makeup, but stings REALLY bad if you get it in your eyes, so we do not advise that.

Olay Regenerist Eye Makeup Remover- Rachel uses these. It is very nice and creamy and it removes eye makeup wonderfully and is very soothing to the eye area.

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips- Rachel uses these and they do a great job removing pores around the nose area.

Montagne Jeunesse Facial Masks- Rachel has used these many times and thinks that this brand has a great variety of masks and they all make her skin feel wonderful.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion With Sunscreen SPF 15- We have both used this moisturizer and think that it is absolutely wonderful. Kylie loves it because is moisturizes her face nicely and makes her skin feel nice and smooth. Rachel likes it because it is very moisturizing, but does not make her face oily.

Hope you have enjoyed these reviews. Please keep in mind that these products have all worked well for us, but they may not do the same for you.
Hope you enjoyed:)
